BOI opens Hyderabad''s largest corporate branch
Hyderabad, Feb 15 (PTI) Bank of India today opened thecity''s largest corporate branch here to cater to the needs oflarge corporate clientele.
The branch will cater to the needs of large corporateclients having projects with minimum Rs 50 crore and abovecost and project turnover of Rs 500 crore, said S S Banik,national banking zonal manager (Hyderabad zone).
"There will be a relationship manager who will handle 10customers. The aim is to reduce time in processing andturnaround time to 4-6 weeks," he said.
He further said the bank was also mulling to open SME andmidcap corporate branches in the future and added that the SMEbranch would be opened before March 15.
Banik said the bank may consider opening similarcorporate branches in Andhra Pradesh after assessing theperformance of the first one.
BOI''s Chairman and Managing Director Alok K Mishrainaugurated the branch from Mumbai.
