Three killed as rival groups exchange fire in MP village

Morena(MP), Feb 14 (PTI) Three persons were today killedand two injured in an exchange of fire between two groups overa long standing dispute related to panchayat polls at villageGotakapur here, police said.

Pancham Singh Gujjar and Sardar Singh Gujjar who arerelatives and engaged in mining business had developed enmityover panchayat polls held a long time back, police said addingthat the two groups had an altercation this morning followingwhich they exchanged fire that left three dead and twowounded.

The deceased have been identified as Dashrath and Mehtab,sons of Sardar Singh Gujjar and Giriraj, son of Pancham,police said. Sardar''s two other sons Rustam and Liladhar havebeen admitted to a hospital, police said.
