Ajmer blast accused produced in court for Cong leader''s murder
Indore, Feb 14 (PTI) An accused in Ajmer dargah blastof 2007, Lokesh Sharma, was today produced in a local courtwhere his statement was recorded in connection with the murderof a Congress leader Pyar Singh Ninama, amid tight security.
Sharma, one of the 13 accused in the Ninama murder caserecorded his statement in the court of Special Judge R K SGautam under section 313 of the CrPC, the government lawyerVishal Shrivastava said.
The next hearing of the case has been listed forFebruary 28, he added.
Sharma (37) is an accused in Ninama murder case whichtook place at Manpur area of the district in August 2003.
Former RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi whose name has figuredin some Hindu terror acts, too allegedly had a hand in Ninamamurder case.
Sharma got a bail after arrest in Ninama murder casebut Joshi who was on the run was shot dead in December 2007 inDewas.
Sharma was arrested by Rajasthan ATS in connectionwith the Ajmer Blast on May 2010 here and since then he hasbeen in judicial custody at Ajmer central jail.
