IAS official passed on info to DB Realty: Report

According to a report by the Times of India (TOI), the New Delhi police has filed a charge sheet against IAS officer Ravi Inder Singh, who was formerly posted in the home ministry and his associate Vineet Kumar for passing on vital information to DB Realty and several other companies.
According to TOI, the charge-sheet said that, "Vineet Kumar (CMD of Kolkata-based Temptation Food Pvt Ltd) was in touch with Ravi Inder Singh to get the file of DB Realty cleared from the home ministry. Singh passed on information to Vineet regarding movement of the files, notings by officers and status of those files."
It can be recollected that Delhi Police's Special Cell had arrested Singh and his agent Vineet on Nov 23, 2010. The charge sheet was filed against the duo on Jan 22.
The report also said that Delhi Police is looking into the matter and until now has not questioned anyone from DB Realty.
