Nitish congratulates U K Sinha for becoming SEBI chief
Patna, Feb 12 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumartoday congratulated UTI Mutual Fund Chairman-cum-ManagingDirector U K Sinha for taking charge of Securitiesand Stock Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
"I congratulate you for taking the charge of SEBI", Kumarsaid while addressing a function in the presence of Sinha.
Kumar hoped that Sinha would try to ensure goodparticipation of Bihar in the stock market trade.
Also addressing the function organised by the statesocial welfare department, Sinha said the entire world hadwidely acclaimed the economic emergence seen in Bihar thesedays and even CLSO, a global rating institution, in its recentsurvey had given its approval to the progress insocio-economic development parametres in Bihar.
"The global rating institution has also accepted the factthat the government has ensured good impact on socialdevelopment indicators in Bihar", he noted.
