Kerala CM feels state govt ''neglected'' at PM''s functions
Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 12 (PTI) The ruling CPIM-led LDFin Kerala has resented that due prominence was not given tostate government during inauguration of VallarpadamTrans-shipment terminal and the international terminal at theairport here by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The grievance in this regard was voiced by Chief MinisterV S Achuthanandan in the presence of Singh at the airportfunction here today.
"The state government has been neglected here as well asat Vallarpadam. But we don''t take it seriously as realisationof the projects is more important," Achuthanandan said.
LDF sources also complain that Achuthanandan''s picturewas not featured in the media advertisement released to markthe Vallarpadam project dedication to the nation and his namewas left out in the inaugural plaque unveiled at the airportterminal.
