Hideout busted, ammunitions recovered in Kupwara

Srinagar, Feb 11 (PTI) Security forces today busted amilitant hideout and recovered huge cache of ammunition andexplosives including a pressure-cooker IED in Kupwaradistrict, official sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, troops of 28 Rashtriya Rifles andpolice launched a joint search operation in Lone mohalla ofSogam area, 110 kms from here, they said.

During the searches, security personnel recovered apressure-cooker IED, one AK magazine and 150 rounds of AKammunition outside the premises of Fayaz Ahmad Hajam, theyadded.

A case has been registered and investigations started,they said.
