Govt not disclosing names of people having black money: Advani

Mumbai, Feb 12 (PTI) Accusing the UPA Government of nottaking a stand on the issue of black money lying in foreignbanks, senior BJP leader L K Advani today said he was hopefulthat the Supreme Court would take the matter to its logicalend.

He also said BJP would continue pressing its demand for aJPC probe into 2G spectrum scam.

The Centre has so far avoided disclosing the names ofthe people who have stashed away unaccounted money in foreignbanks, Advani told reporters on the sidelines of a functionorganised by Jai Hind College in South Mumbai.

The senior BJP leader was referring to a petition filed byveteran lawyer Ram Jethmalani in the Supreme Court on the sameissue.

About the opposition''s demand for a Joint ParliamentaryCommittee to probe 2G Scam, Advani said, "We shall continuewith our demand till the JPC is formed."

He said "no comments" when asked about confession made bySwami Aseemanand, a key suspect in the Ajmer dargah blastcase, to a court about the alleged involvement of right wingleaders in Malegaon and other bomb blasts in the country.

Advani was felicitated by members of the Sindhi Communityled by Chairman of Priyadarshni Academy Nanik Rupani at thefunction organised by the Sindhi Cultural wing of the College.
