Divisional Comm, DM transferred in UP for lax attitude
Lucknow, Feb 12 (PTI) A Divisional Commissioner and aDistrict Magistrate have been transferred after they werefound "lax" in monitoring development works and solving publicproblems by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati during hervisit to Gonda and Balrampur region.
Devipatan Divisional Commissioner Gurdeep Singh andGonda District Magistrate were shunted from their posts lastlast night after Mayawati''s tour to the two districts,officials said here.
Both the officers have been put on the wait list.
Director, Training and Recruitment R Ramesh Kumar hasbeen posted as new Divisional commissioner Devipatan, theysaid.
Mayawati had yesterday conducted tour of these twodistricts and found that the officers were lax in monitoringdevelopmental works and solving problems of the public. PTIABN PG
