Bhutan minister meets Nitish
Patna, Feb 11 (PTI) Bhutan minister Lyonpo MinjurDorjee today conveyed his Prime Minister Jigmy Thinly''s warmregards for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Accompanied by his wife and other members of thedelegation, the Home and Culture minister of Royal governmentof Bhutan had a meeting with Kumar at ''Samvad Bhavan''.
"Dorjee conveyed his PM''s heartiest and warmregards to the CM for his great success in Bihar assemblypolls and for taking bold initiatives of a turnaround", anofficial spokesperson said.
"Bihar and Bhutan has a close bond and we will try tofurther strengthen the ties", he said.
Dorjee recalled that the Bhutanese PM during hismeeting with Chief Minister last year requested the latter toprovide land for construction of temple and a rest house inBodh Gaya.
The delegation members accompanying him would beleaving for Bodh Gaya and try to locate a suitable plot forthe purpose.
Dorjee conveyed his PM''s invitation for a visit toBhutan. The chief minister expressed his wish to visit Bhutanin future.
