Athletes to run with corporate executives for environment

Kolkata, Feb 12 (PTI) Thousands of athletes and sportslovers will join corporate executives for a run here thisTuesday to express their solidarity for the cause ofprotecting the environment from the effects of global warmingand climate change.

Being organised by Sonnet hotel, the �Green Run� willcover a distance of 9 km at Salt Lake, where the AthleticCoaches Association of Bengal will look after the technicalaspects of the race, a release from the hotel said today.

Besides athletes, sports enthusiasts and people fromcorporate houses, some celebrities are expected to participatein the run.
