Three burglars arrested, stolen goods recovered

Ghaziabad, Feb 11 (PTI) Police today arrested threemembers of a notorious gang of ''house-breakers'' while threeothers managed to escape.

The arrested were identified as Salman, Aamir andRizwan while the trio of Khalid, Dabbu and Sajid managed togive the police a slip.

Police have recovered a firearm with three rounds, asword, a camera, six watches and dozens of cellphones fromthem.

Those arrested are history-sheeters and have confessedto their involvement in similar incidents in the past, SSPRaghubir Lal said.

In a separate incident, Pappu alias Ilyasuddin who wascarrying a cash reward of Rs five thousand on his head isapprehended from his Ambedkar Nagar residence. He was wantedin various cases of looting.
