2G: Swamy goes after Attorney General next

The basis of the request apparently being that the Attorney General had given the go-ahead to A Raja to go with the first-come-first-serve policy to grant 2G spectrum licences and alter the cut-off date. Swamy also emphasized that the Attorney General's decision contradicts the directive by the then Law Minister who was given charge of setting up a group of ministers to discuss the issue. He has supposedly mentioned Vahanvati's interventions in the letter to help those accused in the case.
The DB Realty Chief, Shahid Balwa's who had alleged links with DMK and M Karunanidhi was arrested by the CBI earlier. There were also allegations doing the rounds on Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar's links with Balwa. He denied all allegations vehemently and said, “I have no connection with Shahid Balwa. He has not made no investment in Baramati."
