Former MP minister Ratnesh Soloman passes away
Bhopal, Feb 11 (PTI) Former Madhya Pradesh minister andCongress MLA Ratnesh Soloman passed away today at the Escortshospital in New Delhi, family sources said.
He was 56.
Soloman''s sugar level had shot up drastically onWednesday night at the Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in the Capital,where he was staying, following which he collapsed in thebuilding''s lift.
He was initially taken to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospitalfor treatment, but was later shifted to the Escorts Hospital,the sources said.
His body is being brought to his native town Damoh inMadhya Pradesh for final rites in a special plane, they said.
Soloman, brother-in law of senior Congress leader andformer Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, was a ministerin the state cabinet headed by Digvijay Singh from 1993-2003.
He is survived a son and two daughters.
