Former Guj MLA acquitted in murder case

Rajkot, Feb 11 (PTI) Eight persons including formerMLA Santokben Jadeja were today acquitted in a six year oldmurder case.

Additional District Judge of Porbandar S R Goswamiacquitted Santokben, her four sons Kandhal, Karan, Bhoja andKana and three others for want of evidence, police said.

Former MLA Santokben Jadeja known as ''godmother'' in thetown was accused of killing BJP councillor Kehsu Nebha aboutsix years back in Porbandar.

Eight persons were chargesheeted on the basis of acomplaint lodged by the victim''s friend Rama Kala, policesaid. PTI VJA ABC
