e-Forms facility, treasury portal launched in Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Feb 10 (PTI) Chief Minister NaveenPatnaik today launched the e-Forms facility and treasuryportal here.

"The e-Forms facility will be another milestone inour efforts to provide e-Governance to the citizens. Thisfacility will enable the dealers to obtain waybills and otherstatutory forms electronically," he said.

The dealers need not come to the offices to obtainvarious statutory forms. Those dealer paying tax and filingreturns electronically will be able to download electronicwaybills almost instantaneously.

This will facilitate the business transactions oftraders and dealers saving their precious time and usher in abusiness friendly environment in the Commercial TaxAdministration.

Patnaik also launched the Orissa Treasury Portalwhich will provide the facility for payment of commercialtaxes and various other taxes electronically.
