D P Kundu new AG of Tripura
Agartala, Feb 11 (PTI) Veteran lawyer and former CalcuttaHigh Court Judge, Dipak Prakash Kundu today took over as thenew Advocate General of Tripura, official sources said.
Kundu was Advocate General of the state during thefirst and second Left Front government in Tripura.
Later, he joined Calcutta High Court as judge in 1995.
He also held the post of Chairman of West Bengal LandCommission.
Justice Kundu was also Chairman of Tripura PoliceAccountability Commission from 2007 to 2010.
The post of Advocate General fell vacant after resignationof Nishith Nandan Adhikari last month.
