CRPF constable, friend arrested for raping teenager

New Delhi, Feb 10 (PTI) A 25-year-old factory workerwas arrested along with a CRPF constable for allegedly rapinghis teenaged cousin in north-west Delhi, police said today.

The incident was reported from Khajuri Khas onFebruary six when the 17-year-old girl approached policeseeking action against her cousin Amit Sharma (25) and a CRPFConstable Jai Kiran (24) for raping her.

Police took her to a government hospital where amedical examination confirmed rape after which Sharma andKiran were arrested, a senior police official said.

"Sharma and Kiran are friends. They allegedly rapedSharma''s cousin," the official said.

A case has been registered.
