Salesman shot dead, bag containing Rs 2 lakh looted
Gonda (UP), Feb 10 (PTI) A 30 year-old salesman wasshot dead by three armed men, who also allegedly looted hisbag containing Rs two lakhs here, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when BrijeshSrivastava, a salesman working in Mankapur township, wasreturning in a van from Babhban area with Rs two lakh,Superintendent of Police Durga Charan Misra said.
Three motorcycle-borne armed assailants overtookSrivasatav near Khamhaiya village and fired at him beforefleeing with the bag, the SP said, adding that he died on thespot.
A case has been registered and investigations wereon, he added.
