Proclaimed offender arrested in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 10 (PTI) A 25-year-old man, declared aproclaimed offender in three cases of Delhi and Rajasthan, wasarrested in the national capital, police said today.
Naddu alias Ramesh, who hails from Jhunjhunu inRajasthan and was residing in Sultanpuri, was apprehended fromnear Madipur metro station yesterday. He is wanted in twocases of Delhi and one of Rajasthan.
Arun Kampani, Deputy Commissioner of Police (SpecialCell), said Ramesh is involved in eight criminal cases ofDelhi, Rajasthan and Haryana including murder, snatching,attempt to murder, causing grievous hurt as well as under NDPSAct and Arms Act.
His first case date back to 2003 when he caused hurt to aman named Raju in Mongolpuri when he was apprehended withcharas, the official said.
In 2007, he went to Sikar in Rajasthan to meet hisbrother-in-law and was arrested under the Arms Act forpossessing a .32 bore pistol. He was declared a proclaimedoffender in this case.
