Noted advocate Ramakant Ovalekar passes away
Thane, Feb 10 (PTI) Noted lawyer Ramakant D Ovalekar diedof old age related ailments here, family sources said today.
He was 89.
Ovalekar, who was undergoing treatment at the JupiterHospital here following health complications died lastevening, they said.
Ovalekar, who was popularly known as Anna, had appearedin various prominent cases, including one relating to formerMaharashtra Chief Minister A R Antulay.
Bombay High Court Judge Pramod Kode, who had conductedthe Mumbai blast trials, started his career from the chamberof Ovelkar as his junior.
He autobiography "That''s All My Lord" was very popular.
