Murder accused escapes police custody
Ghaziabad, Feb 10 (PTI) An undertrial, facing as manyas 35 charges including murder and loot in different states,allegedly fled from the police custody today after he wasproduced before a lower court in New Delhi.
"Amit alias Bhura, fled from the custody ofUttarakhand police near the Sahibabad area when he was beingtaken back to Dehra Dun after appearing before Rohini court,"SSP Raghuvir Lal said here today.
He fled from the custody near the Hindon bridge wherehis associates were waiting for him in motorcycles, Lal added.
The three policemen, who were accompanying him, weretaken into custody by Uttar Pradesh police.
