MphasiS mulls acquisitions in BFSI, capital market space

Mumbai, Feb 10 (PTI) IT major, MphasiS, is mullingacquisitions in the BFSI and capital market space, a seniorcompany official said today.

"We are looking at acquisitions in the BFSI and capitalmarket space," MphasiS'' President, Emerging Markets, P AKrishnan, told reporters at the NASSCOM summit here.

On the prevailing environment, he said "demand ispositive and the current pipeline is very healthy."

Asked if the company was looking at any particulargeography and the likely size of the acquisitions, Krishnansaid the company would look at any opportunity that wouldsupport its business.

"We will consider whatever will support our business andthe (acquisition) size could be anything -- all that mattersis that it should suit our business," he said.
