Maoists burn six trucks during bandh
Muzaffarpur, Feb 10 (PTI) Maoists burnt six trucks atdifferent places in Bihar''s Muzaffarpur district in the earlyhours today during the 24-hour bandh by the extremists inTirhut range to protest the arrest of one of them.
Police said the Maoists burnt four trucks at Rekhaghatand two others at Dharampur and Tekrahi villages of thedistrict after pulling out the drivers and their helpers.
There were no reports of any injury or casualty in anyof the incidents.
The Maoists also blew up a tower of a private telecomoperator at Uran Chhapra in East Champaran district, thepolice said.
The Maoists have called the bandh in Tirhut rangefrom 12 am to protest the arrest of their colleague NakurSahni. The bandh had negligible impact with vehicles plying indepleted numbers in Sitamarhi, official sources said. PTI CORAJK KKKK02101334
