Bangalore,Feb10 (PTI) Eyeing the vast opportunitiesoffered by the defence electronics market, engineering giantLarsen and Toubro and Cassidian, a division of Europe''sleading aerospace and defence group EADS, today announcedforming of a Joint Venture.

The Joint Venture based in Talegoan near Pune and in thecity will be active in the defence electronics market and aimsto cover manufacturing, design, engineering, distribution andmarketing in the fields of electronic warfare, radars,avionics and mobile systems such as bridges for militaryapplications, representatives of the JV told reporters here.
