Ex-armyman murder: 1 arrested, another surrenders in court

Ghaziabad, Feb 10 (PTI) An absconding man, allegedlyinvolved in the murder of a retired army officer, has beenarrested while another accused surrendered in a court, policesaid here today.

Bijendra, son of Inderpal, who was absconding in themurder case of retired army officer Rajbeer, resident of BBNagar in Bulandshahar area, was arrested and produced in acourt here, they said.

Meanwhile, another accused surrendered in a courthere, they said.

Rajbeer was found dead last month near Chhijarsivillage. The former armyman was killed while he was on his wayto his village in Modinagar by four hired criminals, who laterthrew his body near road side.
