Entrepreneurship development programme for graduates below 30

Coimbatore, Feb 10 (PTI) The Entrepreneurship DevelopmentInstitute (EDI) of Tamil Nadu Government is launching a novelmonth-long non-residential entrepreneurship developmentprogramme from March 1 in different cities in the state.

Targeting graduates below 30 years of age, the programmewould be held in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Tirunelveli.

Participants would be charged a fee of Rs 12,500 but theprogramme is free for SC/ST candidates, official sources said.

They said the programme was designed by a team of eminentindustrialists and professors and pilot-tested over 50students at IIT, Madras with "phenomenal results".

Interested candidates can register with the GeneralManager, District Industries Centre or apply through email orpost to EDI, Chennai, authorities said.
