Dacoits loots Rs 6 lakhs from a bank
Rourkela, Feb 10 (PTI) Five armed dacoits lootedaround Rs six lakh from the Barsuna branch of the State Bankof India (SBI) in Sundargarh district, about 100 km from here,police said today.
The dacoits walked into the bank last evening andterrorised the staff and customers at gun point beforedecamping with the cash, the sources said.
The loot amount includes of Rs one lakh from a customer.
The dacoits locked all staff and customers in a room andsnatched mobile sets from them before disappearing intothe forest nearby.
Police had launched a search operation to nab themiscreants, the sources said.
