BGR Energy Systems reports 100 per cent growth on PAT

Chennai, Feb 10 (PTI) Engineering, Procurement andConstruction provider BGR Energy Systems has reported over 100per cent growth on its Profit After Tax (PAT) for the thirdquarter ending December 31, 2010.

The Chennai-based company has reported a 109 per centgrowth on its PAT at Rs 87.55 crore for the third quarterending December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 41.91 croreregistered during the same period of the previous year, BGREnergy Systems said in a statement.

The net sales of the company for the third quarter endingDecember 31, 2010 also grew by 97 per cent to Rs 1,251.07crore from Rs 635.14 crore registered during the same periodof previous year.

The operating margin was at 11.77 per cent and theEarnings Per Share witnessed growth by 109 per cent fromRs 5.82 in the third quarter to Rs 12.14 for the same quarterin 2010-11.

On the future outlook, BGR Energy Systems said with thecurrent order book size of Rs 9,317 crore, the company cansustain growth momentum.

BGR Energy Systems is well-positioned to harnessopportunities in the Indian power sector as its EPCcapabilities were consolidated by a recently concluded jointventure with Hitachi Group, the statement added.
