Signal Corps holds blood donation camp
Imphal, Feb 9 (ANI): A blood donation camp was organised by the Indian Army to mark the 100 years of it's Signal corps in Imphal on Tuesday.
The Signal corps provides communication assistance to the Army.
The commanding Officer of the regiment, Colonel R.S. Saini, said that the blood donation camp has been organised on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of the Corps of Signals raised in 2011.
More than hundred soldiers donated blood at the camp which was organised as a gesture of warmth towards the local people .
N. Madhu Mangal Singh, the President of Rotary Club, Imphal said,"To serve the ill patients and those who need the blood in emergency, we have taken this humanitarian project."(ANI)
