No efforts to have a tie-up with MNS: BJP

New Delhi, Feb 7 (PTI) BJP today said there were noefforts to have an alliance with Raj Thackeray-led MNS andwondered where these reports came from.

"There is nothing on this. There are no talks with MNS.

Where this came from, we are not aware. If there is somethingwe will get back to you," BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharamansaid in reply to a question.

BJP''s Deputy Leader in Lok Sabha Gopinath Munde had saidyesterday that the party welcomed an alliance with Shiv Senaas well as MNS.

Bal Thackeray-led Shiv Sena is strongly opposed to MNSand had raised a hue and cry when Raj had entered the BJP''sMaharashtra state unit office in Mumbai to have tea with someparty leaders.

BJP expressed surprise at the suggestion Munde madeyesterday.

"There is nothing in the party about Raj Thackeray''sMNS," Sitharaman reiterated.
