Farmers'' body land d''bution movement against former Karna CJ

Chennai, Feb 7 (PTI): A CPI(M) affiliated farmers'' body,spearheading a movement against former Karnataka High CourtChief Justice P D Dinakaran in an issue of alleged land grabwill conduct a ''land distribution movement'' at his nativevillage in Thiruvallur district here on February 10.

The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) today said that despitehaving ''recovered'' nearly 200 acres of land allegedlyencorached by Justice Dinakaran at Kaverirajapuram village, itwas yet to be distributed to landless SC/ST community members,the main demand of the organisation.

While it had been promised that the land would be distributdistributed among the landless,it was yet to be done.ThereforeAIKS would conduct the Land Distribution Movement, it said ina press release here.

AIKS state unit president K Balakrishnan will lead themovement.
