Two killed in road accident in Mumbai

Mumbai, Feb 6, (PTI) Two youths were killed, while twoothers were injured when the motorcycle they were travellingin hit a trailer at Wadala in central Mumbai, police saidtoday.

Of the two injured, one is said to be in a criticalcondition and is recuperating in the hospital, they said.

According to Wadala T T police, one Dinesh had gone tomeet his friends at Sion-Koliwada area last night. Whilereturning, his friend Kartik Marimuttu (24) agreed to drop himback to his house at Chembur.

While Kartik and Dinesh were heading towards Chemburarea, their friends Shakti Nagarajan (23) and Dharmaraj (25)also joined them on the same motorcycle.

On their way, Kartik lost the balance of the vehicle andhit a stationary trailer. While Kartik died on the spot,Shakti succumbed to his injuries today at Sion hospital.

Police said that Dinesh is critically injured andDharmaraj sustained simple injuries.

The Wadala TT police have registered a case of accidentaldeath.
