JK govt has legalised corruption in state: PDP

Jammu, Feb 6 (PTI) Opposition Peoples Democratic Partytoday alleged that legalising corruption and nepotism is theonly "noticeable" achievement of the incumbent government inJammu and Kashmir.

"The Jammu and Kashmir government has legalisedcorruption and nepotism in Jammu and Kashmir during his twoyear tenure. It is the noticeable achievement," PDP GeneralSecretary, Thakur Balbir Singh said while addressing a publicmeeting here this afternoon.

Singh said that the present dispensation has "betrayed"people of Jammu and Kashmir because all promises made duringthe Assembly elections remained on papers.

He remarked that during the last two years, thegovernment has failed to even connect itself with the commonmasses let alone solving problems their problems.

Calling upon the party workers to educate the peopleabout the misdeeds of this regime, he said that the governmentis neck deep in corruption from top to bottom and leaders ofthe ruling party have been "brazenly" indulged in accumulatinghuge wealth by misusing their position.
