Shahbaz calls up Hooda, Pak delegation may visit Haryana
Chandigarh, Feb 4 (PTI) Chief Minister of Pakistan''sPunjab province Shahbaz Sharif today spoke to Haryana ChiefMinister Bhupinder Singh Hooda over phone and appreciated thesocial welfare schemes being implemented by his government.
Sharif rang up Hooda and appreciated his various policiesand schemes, an official release said here tonight.
A Punjab province government delegation plans to visitHaryana for detailed ground study for implementation ofschemes like grant to the poor for marriage of daughters,ambulance facilities for women in maternity cases andprocurement and purchase scheme for wheat and otheragricultural produce, it said.
Sharif told Hooda that former Prime Minister of PakistanNawaj Sharif was also impressed with various schemes ofHaryana government, the release said.
