Turkey and Kyrgyzstan to set up cooperation council
Bishkek, Feb 3 (Anadolu) Turkey has decided to set upa High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council with Kyrgyzstan.
Holding a joint press conference with Kyrgyz PrimeMinister Almazbek Atambaev here yesterday, Turkish PrimeMinister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the first meeting ofthe council is scheduled to take place in Turkey in March.
Noting that it would be beneficial to establish anInvestment Agency in Kyrgyzstan, Erdogan said that the twocountries could take mutual steps as well as steps in thirdcountries through Investment Agency.
Investments and support made by Turkey in Kyrgyzstanhas reached 450 million USD so far, he said.
