Spectrum Raja to face court trial

New Delhi, Feb 3: A day after the CBI's arrest of A Raja and his close aides, they will be produced before a special court on Thursday, Feb 3. On Wednesday, along with the former Telecom Minister, the CBI also arrested his associates, former telecom secretary Siddharth Behura and his former personal secretary, RK Chandolia, in connection with the 2G spectrum scam.

The three accused will be produced in the Patiala House court on Thursday, before the Special CBI Judge OP Saini. The trio are under CBI custody at present.

According to sources, the CBI has planned to seek Raja's remand for the detailed interrogation and has also called for Enforcement Directorate officials to join in the quizzing, as the case also involve transactions of huge sums of unaccounted money.
