Policeman suspended for beating up MP Minister''s son
Ratlam (MP), Feb 2 (PTI) A Reserve Inspector was todaysuspended for allegedly beating up Santosh Untwal, son of aMadhya Pradesh Minister, a top official said here.
Bhupendra Singh Rathod was booked under IPC sections341 (wrongful restraint) and 323 (causing hurt) and suspendedfollowing an inquiry, Superintendent of Police Raman SinghSikarwar said.
Santosh, son of Minister of State for UrbanAdministration and Development Manohar Untwal, had lodged apolice complaint alleging Rathod had beaten him up over carparking issue.
Rathod had misbehaved with Santosh after he found hiscar parked on the wrong side of a market in Daulatgunj areahere yesterday, police sources said.
