Plea for CBI probe into Saseendran''s and children''s death:

Kochi, Feb 2 (PTI) A petition has been filed in the KeralaHigh Court seeking CBI probe into the death of V Saseendran,former Company secretary of Malabar Cements, who was founddead along with his two young sons last month in their house.

The petition was filed by Saseendran''s wife Teena andFather Velayudhan Master.

Saseednran (46) and his sons Vivek (10) and Vyas (8) werefound hanging inside their house in palakkad on January 24.

The petitioners alleged that previous incidents led to anirrestible conclusion that the deaths were caused not bysuicide but by ''external intervention'' and was murder.

They also alleged that police had threatned them to give astatement that Saseendran had committed suicide which they hadrefused.

Saseendram was prime witness in 2 vigilance cases againstV M Rahdakrishnan, a contractor, and his henchmen.

Saseendran had also written a complaint to Chief Ministerregarding the threats.

The petitioners said they apprehended that they will notget justice from the present investigation.
