Neighbours arrested for killing minor boy

Hardoi, Feb 2 (PTI) An 11-year-old boy was allegedlykidnapped and later killed by his neighbours in Kotwali area,police said here today.

"Mohd Saif, a class IV student, was kidnapped onJanuary 26 for ransom and killed on the same day by hisneighbours Altaf, Dharmendra, Naushad and Faisal," SP LuvKumar said.

The accused had called the victim''s father anddemanded Rs two lakh as ransom, he said.

"All the four accused were arrested this morning whenthey had come to collect the ransom," Kumar said, adding thevictim''s body was recovered from Bhaisata river here.
