Minor girl repeatedly raped, blackmailed in J-K; two arrested

Jammu, Feb 3 (PTI) A class 9 girl was repeatedly rapedand blackmailed by two men who filmed an MMS of the victim inNagrota area in the outskirts of the city, police officialssaid today.

Acting on the complaint of the 15-year-old girl''sfather, the police conducted raids in Nagrota town andarrested the two accused last night, they said.

The duo have been identified as Paray Lal (27) and SumitKumar (18). They were produced before a local court which sentthem in police remand for further questioning.

As per the preliminary investigation, the girl wasrepeatedly being raped as the accused were blackmailing her byrecording a video clip of her, they said.

She was threatened by the accused of dire consequencesif she narrated the incident to her family.
