Four killed in road accident near Rajkot

Rajkot, Feb 3 (PTI) Four persons were killed and fiveothers injured when a truck carrying them overturned nearJasdan town here early this morning, police said.

The incident occurred when the truck, laden with cottonand carrying nine persons overturned, killing four persons onthe spot, they said.

All the four deceased identified as Kailash Otham (30),Anutha Gujrish (50), Jagdish Mukhiya (35) and Saraj Mukhiya(35) hailed from Bihar''s Madhuani district and had been inSaurashtra since last couple of years as labourers, policesaid.

Five others, who sustained critical injuries, were firstadmitted at Jasdan civil hospital from where they have beenshifted to the Rajkot civil hospital, they said adding thatfurther investigations are on.
