Doctor killed as rifle goes off accidentally

Ratnagiri, Feb 3 (PTI) A doctor, who went for huntingalong with his friends, was killed after a rifle from one ofthe members of the hunting party allegedly went off in Chiplunnear here, police said today.

The incident occurred late last night when the victimidentified as Dr Sanjay Joshi was accidentally hit by a bulletfrom the rifle of one of the members of the hunting party,they said.

However, it is not clear as to from whose rifle did thebullet went off, police said adding that further investigationis on.
