Dacoits loot petrol pump in steel city

Rourkela, Feb 3 (PTI) A four member armed dacoit ganglooted more than Rs One lakh from a petrol filling station inthe heart of Rourkela steel city.

Police said the dacoits stormed into the fillingstation last night and fired four rounds in the air,threatening the cashier and salesmen. The gang looted cashfrom the cashier and some other staff. The gang has alsolooted cash and mobile sets from the customers.

The dacoit decamped in their three motor bikes aftercompleting 15 minutes operation.

No arrest had been made in this connection so far,police said.

This was the fourth such petrol pump looting incidentin Rourkela in a week.
