However, National Federation of Telecom Employees (NFTE) stated the BSNL union failed to act for staff.

Keeping in view of the elections, National Federation of Telecom Employees (BSNL) workers held a rally at Bharat Nagar Telecom complex alleging that the recognised union has failed to address the burning issues.

General Secretary of NFTE (BSNL) Chandershwar Singh said, "In some issues, the failure is so big that it amounts to criminal neglect of workers' interests. Denial of bonus to workers is one such act."
