BJP''s national convention of party MPs, legislators cancelled

Nagpur, Feb 3 (PTI) The proposed national convention ofBJP MPs and legislators scheduled to be held here fromFebruary 8-10 has been cancelled, party sources said today.

The convention has been cancelled in view of thePresident''s visit to the city and non-availability of VVIPaccommodation at the Government circuit house, Ravi Bhawan,they said.

Moreover, Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee hasconvened a meeting of opposition on February 8 to chalk out astrategy for the forthcoming Parliament budget session and toend the deadlock over JPC demand by the BJP-led opposition,the sources added.
