Anti-Sikh riots: Witness stands by statement against Sajjan
New Delhi, Feb 2 (PTI) A woman, whose father was killedduring 1984 anti-Sikh riots here, today stood by her earlierstatement in a Delhi court that he had seen senior Congressleader Sajjan Kumar inciting the mob during the carnage.
"It is incorrect to suggest that I had not seen SajjanKumar in the area or that he had not addressed any gatheringon that day," Nirpreet Kaur testified before AdditionalSessions Judge Sunita Gupta.
The court concluded the recording of statement of Kaurwho had been examined for 13 days.
Kaur also said that she had informed CBI investigatorsabout the place where she had seen the senior Congress leaderinciting the mob during the riots.
The court posted the matter for further hearing onFebruary 7 for recording of evidence of one of the remainingvictims in the case. (more) PTI ABA SJK
