Timings of AIEE, AFMC MBBS exams announced

New Delhi, Jan 31 (PTI) With exam dates of both AIEEE andAFMC MBBS scheduled for the same date on May 1 across thecountry, the respective boards conducting them have decided tohold the tests at separate timings on that day, givingreprieve to candidates appearing for both.

While AIEEE is conducted by CBSE, AFMC entrance test isconducted by Armed Forces Medical Services.

According to a CBSE statement, both have mutually agreedthat AIEEE would be conducted on May 1 from 9.30 am to 12.30pm and AFMC MBBS on the same day from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

If a candidate is alloted an examination centre for AIEEEand AFMC at different cities, CBSE will consider to change thecentre of such candidates where AFMC examination centre hasbeen allotted, the statement said.

This is subject to availability of seats and fixationof AIEEE examination centre in that city on production of AFMCentrance examination card.

However, this would be at the sole discretion of CBSE,the statement added.
