Participate in census and cooperate with officials: Abdullah

Srinagar, Jan 31 (PTI) Union Minister for Renewableenergy Farooq Abdullah today asked people of Jammu and Kashmirto participate in the census and provide exact details to theofficials.

"People should participate in the census and cooperatewith the census officials to make the exercise successful,"Abdullah, who is also the president of ruling NationalConference, said in a statement here.

He said the census data will help in formulation ofpolicies and help in development projects.

"The information provided by the people to the censusofficials plays a vital role in policy formation," Abdullahsaid.
