MADITSSIA to hold INDEXPO 2011 in Madurai

Madurai, Jan 31 (PTI) Encouraged by the success of thePrint and Pack exhibition and rubber industry exhibition here,the Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale IndustriesAssociation (MADITSSIA), is planning to hold its secondIndustrial Exhibition (INDEXPO 2011) for general engineeringgoods in the city from February 4-8.

V Senthil Kumar, chairman of INDEXPO 2011, said theexhibition is being conducted with a view help the medium andsmall-scale industries modernise their units and increaseproductivity.

Adding that imported machineries would also be exhibited,he said numerous companies from all over India would besetting up 150 stalls exhibiting their wares.

The exhbition is expected to do business to the tune ofRs 10 crore, Kumar said.

The type of products that would be on display wouldinclude machineries concerning general engineering,fabrication, hydraulics and pneumatics, agricultural products,automobile components etc, he said.
